This half-day session focused on equipping participants with practical tools to manage misinformation during emergency response situations. To reinforce learning, participants were divided into competitive teams and engaged in a three-phase escalating crisis simulation, based on a foreign government election interference scenario. This tabletop exercise challenged each group to apply the strategies discussed and manage a realistic communications response under pressure.
After each phase, teams presented their responses and received real-time feedback and expert evaluation, helping them refine their strategic thinking and crisis communication skills.
